DryBoy x Rostrum Records

visual production & content strategy for EP rollout

New Rostrum Records signee, DryBoy, is preparing to drop his first EP, titled “Alone and Alive”. The artist and his team are eager to craft a variety of media deliverables to accompany the EP release.

approach & concept

We developed a comprehensive content plan that adheres to a cohesive storyline and aesthetic, staying true to DryBoy's brand and personal stories. Collaboration with Rostrum Records Digital Marketing Team, A&Rs, DryBoy's management team, NoSundays, and Production Partner Trance Productions, ensured a seamless integration of creative, logistical, and rollout strategies.

priorities & challenges

Our main challenge was diversifying location settings to provide unique and engaging backdrops while maintaining a cost-effective approach.

Furthermore, as this marked DryBoy's debut EP release through Rostrum Records, the aim was to meticulously curate the media deliverables. The goal was to ensure that each piece maintained an authentic look, feel, and narrative true to DryBoy and builds off of the intentionality of his music.

solution

We embarked on a 10-day road trip across California, covering over 1500 miles. The journey involved filming a cohesive short film comprising 20+ stand-alone video assets, including short-films, music videos, visualizers, short-form social media content, and more.

results

Traveling over 1500+ miles across the state of California to film in Los Angeles, Palmdale, Death Valley, Mammoth Lake, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Mt. Shasta, Sequoia National Park, Bodega Bay, Pacific Highway One.
